The third and also the final day of the E3 expo is finally here. We now decided to try more games than the past two days to close our coverage at the L.A. Convention Center with a perfect finale.
We arrived early at the E3 to walk directly towards the Nintendo booth to try once and for all The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. The waiting in the line started so I decided to ask Matt to reserve my spot in the line while I played some other games that we hadn’t had the opportunity to play in the past two days at the Nintendo booth such as Wii Sports Resort and The Legendary Starfy.
When I returned to the line, Matt was still in the middle of it so I decided to wait with him until the great moment arrived. The staff members said us that there were three modes that we can play in the demo: Train, Dungeon and Boss, so we decided that Matt would be playing the Dungeon mode while I would be trying the Train mode.

I don’t know if it was luck or not, but I was able to play all the three modes in a row since the assistant guy never made a signal to me when my time was over. When we finished playing the demo, they gave us a themed Spirit Tracks stylus to use in our good DS consoles at home.
Once again we got split in order to Matt and Chuck to attend their appointments and since I hadn’t any of those today I was a free bird that could fly at any part of the huge convention center.
I started my journey visiting the huge Square-Enix booth. In there I watched some cool trailers of all the upcoming RPGs that are coming both for Nintendo and the other consoles and also had the opportunity to play Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days for the Nintendo DS. This portable version of the series has almost all the elements that made the original games for the PS2 big. Unfortunately I only was able to play the single player but for what I could see from people who were playing the multiplayer mode, up to four players can participate in some kind of cooperative multiplayer games.
The game is promising when we talk about its plot but Unfortunately we still have to wait a bit longer for it since the game will be released in North America on September 29.
Near the Square-Enix booth, a figures and statues exhibition of all sizes was being carried out. Some of them included emblematic characters from videogames like Cloud from Final Fantasy VII or Sora from Kingdom Hearts.
In the meantime, Matt was in his appointment with XSEED Games to check some of the titles that they are bringing to this side of the pond this year just like Little King Story, Ju-On: The Grudge, Arc Rise Fantasia and Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon. You can check his preview of these games in the News section
Chuck in his side, had an appointment with Capcom to check some of the games that we already have discussed in the forums. Resident Evil Archives, Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles, Spyborgs and the American version of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All Stars were some of the titles he had the chance to try. He also made a quick stop at Ubisfot’s booth to try TMNT: Smash Up where you can see classic characters from the TMNT series fighting with a very similar battle system of Super Smash Bros. but with its obvious differences.
As a last minute stop, I checked how people were playing
Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing. From what I could see from them is that items are scattered throughout the course, and in Sonic’s course are shaped like the item boxes from the old Genesis Sonic games. Also it seems that each character has a special move that you build up, either by being in dead last or by getting it randomly via the items you hit.
So there it is, our last day at the E3. Once we got reunited again we embarked on our trip to go back home. You guys can expect a feature at the weekend with the final thoughts of the staff members about all the things that happened in the E3. I can only say by now that I enjoyed ir and enjoyed it A LOT. Goodbye Los Angeles, I will see you next year.
